What we do with your email.
The short version
If you join the mailing list we store your email address and email you when there is a new game to play. We don’t sell it, we don’t rent it, and you can leave in one click from any email we send.
What we collect
Only what you type into the signup field: your email address. We also record which page you signed up from, like drop-airboat, so we can tell which games bring people in. That’s it. We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t build a profile on you.
Who stores it
The list is held by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), an email service provider, on our behalf. They process it under their own privacy terms so that we can send you email. Nobody else gets a copy.
Why we’re allowed to
Consent. You gave it by entering your address and pressing Join, and you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send, and it takes effect immediately.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you did so, purely so we don’t accidentally email you again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it entirely. Email hello@unbriefed.gamesand we’ll do it. No forms, and no verification hoops beyond confirming it’s your address.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, which never leaves your device.
Changes
If this changes, say we add analytics or move to a different email provider, we’ll update this page and say so in an email before it takes effect.
